So, there’s this goat named Timur that was placed in the cage of a Siberian tiger as dinner.

Timur apparently took no shit from this tiger and basically bullied him around the cage. Then kicked the tiger’s striped ass right out of his own bed.

Their friendship began when Timur was placed in the tiger’s habitat as part of its twice weekly live animal feedings. The goat surprised onlookers by not only refusing to be eaten, but actually kicking the the tiger out of its bedding area.

The goat was put into the enclosure of the Amur tiger at the Far Eastern Safari Park in the Shkotovsky district of Primorsky Krai, Russia. What followed surprised all observers — instead of cowering and becoming dinner, the goat took charge of the situation.

"We named the goat Timur — he was just a nameless prey at the point when he entered the cage — out of respect his bravery," a park keeper told the The Siberian Times. "We think that the goat never came across tigers and no one taught him to be scared of them.

Not removed from the tiger’s cage, the tiger and goat developed something like a ‘friendship’ sometimes being seen playing together with a soccer ball.

But, January 29th, shit got real.  Amur the tiger got tired of being punked on by the goat, who wasn’t a very good friend, and kicked his ass.

Unfortunately, the relationship came to an end when Amur lashed out at the goat after what officials refer to as “weeks” of bullying. Apparently, Timur had been jumping on the tiger, poking it with its horns and attempting to push it. According to The Siberian Times the large cat grabbed the goat by the scruff of its neck and shook it “like a kitten.”

No word as to whether they will make up.

(Timur needed a lil tiny bit of medical care but is ok)
